Power of the People - An Open Letter to My Senators

Congratulations on your recent success with the 2020 election and being chosen to represent the State of the Georgia along with the People of our state.

You now have an incredible and immense responsibly to not only represent our State but our People. You also now have an incredible and necessary responsibility to vote against new laws and remove old laws that not only are unconstitutional but go against the certain ideals of our nation of a Free People.

The founding of these United States is based entirely around the concept of individual rights, the protections of those rights from excessive governance and the need to keep laws from unduly providing our system of governance from accumulating excess power. The Founders fully intended to keep the power in the hands of the People and not the governments at the State and Federal levels. While they recognized that some power was needed, their earlier attempts at limited governance where not as successful due to a lack of power but that should not diminish their ideals of limited governance. I believe that the failed Articles of Confederation have demonstrated this preferred concept of limited governance despite it’s failed attempt.

To keep the power in the hands of the People as intended, the Founders secured the two most important forms of power (and really the only major forms of power) that We the People can wield over such incredible power structures such as our Federal government. These can be discovered freely within our Federal Governments founding document, the Constitution. Our ability to vote and our ability to procure and wield such armaments of war as to "throw off such Government" that would seek to rule over and deny our People their rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness were enshrined to protect them from egregious minds.

While the endeavor of saving lives from threats both foreign and domestic is both noble and necessary, it must be stressed that We the People are the ultimate guardians of our own Freedom and that the several Governments of our peoples are not to be entrusted with our Freedom. To ensure this Freedom, we WILL require access to modern weapons and armament, those suitable for fighting a modern War should that need arise, whenever it arises.

Denying We the People these necessary tools through the form of legislation such as "assault weapon bans" and unenforceable laws such as "universal background checks" or taxation of such goods is an affront to the Free traditions of We the People and the ideals set forth by our Founders. It hands excess control of We the People's few powers over to these Governments and ultimately concentrates power in the hands of those who operate the central government. This can, in no way interpreted as good for human rights or life as demonstrated throughout history.

You will be challenged by your constituents and your peers to pursue such legislations to infringe upon We the People's rights and those few powers over our Governments but do not be swayed by such arguments. Those proposals may even make "sense" to you but I wish to assure you that working against We the People and working to deny We the People our few powers is in no uncertain terms, an idea worthy of any esteemed individual such as yourself.

History has demonstrated, in both recent and in humanity's distant past, that excess governance and the People's inability to wield the few Power's needed to control such government has resulted in the deaths of incredible numbers of people.

I urge you to vote against and endeavor without delay to stymy any and all attempts of passing "gun control" such as H.R 8 or H.R. 1446 or and assault weapons bans.

There may come a time when We the People need these tools to fend off the hands of Evil to defend our homes and lands from tyrants either elected or appointed.
