The Modern Lever Action - Build Idea for Bond Arm's Lever Action

With the pending release of Bond Arm's modernized lever action that uses AR-15 upper receivers, I'm getting ideas. The immediate idea is for .300 Blackout as a hunting rifle (as if I don't have enough of those) but also a 9mm and .22 LR. Bond Arm's website has a 9mm option on their website slated for initial release. That could be a lot of fun but I'm hoping to see a .22 LR version as well. If they do a .22 LR version, I'm thinking just get 3 uppers. One in .300 BLK, 9mm and .22 LR.

The new rifle is setup to use the Remington 870 pattern stock which gives you tons of options but I'm thinking about using a WOOX Gladiator style stock for the rifle and having the lever loop bent to match the curve. WOOX hasn't released a 870 stock at this time but I can't imagine they wouldn't since they have one for the 500/590 platform and Remington is coming back online.

For the upper, the BA rifle can be setup with free float handguards so I'm thinking of adding wood panels to the mlok rails. The barrel isn't tied to the magazine system so we can trim it back as far as we want. For the centerfire guns, I'm thinking shortening and do a pin-and-weld for a muzzle device to mount my Dead Air Wolfman. For a .22 version, I'd leave the barrel at 16 inches until short barrel rifles come off of the NFA. Then I'd trim back to 12 inches. I'll still run the Q El Camino.

In the optics arena, for the .300 Blackout version, I'm thinking about the Leupold 2.5-8x scope for the increased eye relief. For the 9mm version, maybe use a SIG Romeo5 and if I can build a .22 version, use the Leupold FX-I fixed 4x scope.

I don't see myself building one out anytime soon but I'll definitely think about buying it over the Henry Homesteader. Maybe.

Update: InRangeTV did a really cool video diving into the rifle. Previously, I had concerns about using a curved grip in conjunction with the straight lever but apparently Bond Arms has a replaceable lever loop that will allow you to use whatever stock you feel like. See the below video for more details.
