The Henry Supreme - Finally Here for 2025 but I Noticed Something

Henry has finally released their Supreme rifle which is a modern lever action design. While they have the Long Ranger, the Supreme is different in that it was designed to use AR-15 magazines and is currently chambered for 5.56 and .300 Blackout. It might be that the magazines and cartridges aren't the only thing it shares with the AR platform.

The Henry Supreme website shows the bolt that they are using with the caption of "A multi-lug rotary locking bolt face..." and the picture is of an AR-15 bolt. Not the carrier group but it looks exactly like an AR-15's bolt. As in Henry may have designed their own carrier system for the receiver and just used a to-spec AR bolt.

Link here.

If that's exactly what they did, I think it's genius. That means that if something breaks, you just buy a regular AR bolt or parts and replace the broken piece. It does appear they don't have the gas rings but you don't need the gas rings on a manually operated rifle.

I reached out to Henry to confirm but I like this idea.
