The Firearm Blog just posted that Springfield is going to introduce into the XD lineup a hammer fired single stack 9. Click here for their post.
They call it the XD-E. It's their XD-S 3.3 single stack 9 but with a DA/SA trigger. They pack a manual safety with a decocker.
Ever since I picked up the CZ P-01 I've been bringing hammer fired guns more into my collection. Looking forward to checking out the new XD-E 3.3.
