According to the Firearm Blog, Iowa voters chose to add The Right to Keep and Bear Arms to their state constitution via a ballot measure. It succeeded by around 65% voting yes.
That's a great step in the right direction as many people leave anti-gun states for better pastures taking their anti-gun ways to better places to live. That will help keep future proposed regulations to a minimum by future anti-gunners.
That said, we still need to see how the situation goes here in Georgia since we're probably going to have another run-off election for the Senate. If Democrats have majority, I expect they will try to push the latest Assault Weapons Ban they got from the House now that they don't have to worry about the elections as much.
