DarkCanyon.net was another one of my reference points for when I started doing research into revolvers and casting bullets. They had hosted a number of Elmer Keith and Skeeter Skelton articles that I used. I even have hyperlinks on some posts here this blog going to them. The gentleman that owned that page had died a while back but someone had kept it going, just not updating. It appears that they have shutdown the page entirely, sadly. This would make for the second website I have used for research on gun topics that have gone down lately, with LASC being the other repository gone. Thankfully, the Wayback Machine had a recording of the page. Link below.
On a side note, I'm very tempted to start up a section here on this blog as an archive for easy reference that doesn't involve a government page. That said, I wouldn't own any rights to the articles and I have concerns about people having monetary related issues over it. I just don't want to loose these resources.

I've started a page on here that will hyperlink to the Wayback Machine's copy of various pages. I'll do this until I can find a more elegant way to create my own archive.
